Welcome to the crew! You're testing The Surplus Stock Exchange — a new marketplace for the MEP & construction industry. No technical skills needed: pick your device below, follow the steps, tick off the tests as you go, and tell us about anything odd you spot. That's it.

Step 1 · Get set up

Choose your device

Whichever you use day-to-day is perfect. You can test on more than one if you're feeling heroic.

Install on iPhone

Uses Apple's free TestFlight app — it's the official way to try apps before release.
  1. On your iPhone, tap the Join the iOS beta button below.
  2. If you don't have it yet, the page will ask you to install TestFlight from the App Store first — it's free and takes seconds.
  3. Open TestFlight, tap Accept, then tap Install next to Surplus Stock Exchange.
  4. That's it — the SSX app is now on your home screen. Open it and you're testing!

Install on Android

A direct download — no Play Store account needed.
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, tap the Download the app button below.
  2. When the download finishes, tap the file (it appears in your notifications, or in your Downloads folder).
  3. Your phone may ask permission to install apps from your browser — tap Settings, switch it on, then go back. This is normal for beta apps.
  4. Tap Install, then Open. You're in!

If your phone shows a "file might be harmful" warning, that's just because the app isn't from the Play Store yet — tap "Download anyway". It's our official beta build.

Test in your browser

Nothing to install — the website is the product too.
  1. On your computer, open Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
  2. Go to the button below — or type ssxdevelopment.com into the address bar.
  3. Bookmark it (Ctrl+D / Cmd+D) so you can get back easily. Done!

Work through these at your own pace — in any order, over as many sittings as you like. Tick each one off as you complete it (your ticks are saved on this device, so you can come back any time). If something doesn't work or seems confusing, that's gold — jump to Report an issue and tell us.
